The Greene County Economic Development Corporation (GCEDC) is seeking proposals to hire a consultant to aid the GCEDC with established federal CDBG economic development activities. The GCEDC is a local development corporation focused on economic development by implementing a wide variety of programs and activities for community and economic development, planning, loan fund administration, grant administration, and grant writing.
The GCEDC administers the Economic Development Revolving Loan Fund (Quantum Fund); the Business Retention and Expansion Program; the Microenterprise Assistance Program and the Community Development Block Grant Program, using CDBG funding obtained through a subrecipient agreement with the County of Greene. Other federal and state grant programs and/or funding for other communities may be administered by the GCEDC.
