Columbia-Greene Career Jam Offers Potential Job Opportunities for 10th-12th Graders

After the success of the initial Columbia-Greene Career Jam, there was increasing demand for Greene & Columbia County 10th-12th graders to have access to the same support and potential job opportunities. Now, thanks to the efforts of both counties’ workforce development boards, Columbia-Greene Career Jam will run again starting June 2nd and ending July 14th.

Career Jam is an innovative and inspirational workforce development approach that connects local employers within Greene and Columbia counties to students in a virtual environment in real-time. Employers in fields from agriculture to marketing will all have virtual kiosks, available 24/7 within the virtual expo center. Students, graduates, and households can all register and login to find information about each company, their potential career or job opportunities, and can even chat live with company representatives to learn even more about them.

Many of the participating local employers will feature real-time job listings and career experiences in addition to the large amount of career info already available at their booths. Students, graduates and households can find potential full-time careers, part-time & seasonal jobs, internships and apprenticeships.

Signing up is simple and can provide a world of opportunity for motivated job-seekers within Greene and Columbia Counties. To learn more or register for the event, click here:
