What is now Foreland was purchased in November 2017 by Sister Properties, LLC, a company controlled by Stef Halmos, a real estate developer whose family has roots in Florida and has completed successful developments throughout Florida and in other southern states. When Stef moved to New York City, she brought the development expertise of Halmos Holdings north to New York, and found Foreland as an opportunity.
